Good afternoon, everyone
Golf Australia Queensland was successful in securing a grant to promote opportunities for girls to participate and play sport. As a result, the "Every Girl Can" play golf in Queensland program has been established.
It is an exciting opportunity to collaborate with all Queensland Stakeholders to provide education, development and mentorship.
I would appreciate the opportunity to promote the program via your district clubs and memberships, to increase the audience and subsequently success of the program in Queensland. Sharing with members via an appropriate platform and have the members share it with clubs, facilities and contacts will extend the reach and capacity to deliver a great product. I would like to express my gratitude to the three host venues, the PGA Professionals, staff and management committed to increasing participation and leadership opportunities for women and girls in golf.
Below and by clicking here, is some additional information.

Dear all
It has finally been confirmed that this year's Meg Nunn, which was to be hosted by Far North Queensland, has been indefinitely postponed.
It is with sadness that I share this news with you all. I know that many of you have been involved with Meg Nunn in all different roles over many years.
There is a proposal that an alternate format for an inter-district competition be developed. This is very much in the early stages of discussion.
To this end, a meeting is tentatively planned for the end of April for all Districts and Golf Queensland to put forward their thoughts and hopes for the new competition.
As more information becomes available, I will keep you informed. If you have any questions, or ideas that you would like to put forward, please do not hesitate to contact me.
